Cincinnati Reds - vs - Cinco de Mayo       May 5th, 2007

We went to Cincinnati for the Reds "Chillicothe Day" and came back on Sunday. Since it was a night game we stopped on the way from the hotel to the ballpark at 'O'Malleys in the Alley' to have some refreshments and watch the Kentucky Derby on the TV. Well... since the Queen of England was at the race we didn't know what to drink... Tea or Mint Juleps? We settled on having Dos Equis with it being Cinco de Mayo and all. Rob almost won $20.00 in the racing pool, his horse led the race until #7 pulled away and won... the nag. When it was time to go to the ballpark, a rain delay was announced on TV, so we had one more to celebrate the Spanish being thrown out of Mexico in 1862. We felt bad having four tickets to the game and those poor guys standing outside with signs "Need Tickets", Rob was going to give them the tickets, but hey, it was raining and our bartender 'D.A.' the initals stood for Dale Ann was providing execllent service. We finally decided it just wasn't worth the effort to go that last block to the ballpark. Another Dos Equis Please!!
