The 1001st mission is to support combat units by providing three crucial services.

1. Operational Field Shower Systems
2. Field Laundry Support
3. A renovation shop for uniforms, canvas tents, vehicle canvas etc...

They are a CSS Combat Service Support Unit that provides all the services to both forward and rear infantry and assault units. Unlike many Quartermaster units, the 1001st is fully combat ready. They are a highly trained combat support unit ready to support any mission wherever it might lead.
